The Parentals in CM

Tuesday, February 5, 2008

About 2 weeks after my grandpeeps left, my mom and dad came to CM for 6 days! They were on their way to some meetings in south Thailand, and came a week early to see me. We didn't know if/when they would ever be able to come, so we were all so thankful that it worked out. It had been about 11 months since I last saw them, so the visit was loooong overdue.

Since they used to live here, we didn't really have to do any touristy things. So, we did what our family does best....eat, laugh, and talk. We had alot of catching up to do, so we crammed it all in to the few days that we had. I just happened to have a week inbetween conferences while they were here. God's timing is always so perfect, isn't it?

Of course more time would have been great, but I'm so grateful for what we did have. It was short and it was sweet.

I'm so glad your parents and grandparents were able to visit you and I absolutely loved all the pictures. The pictures of you, Wendy and her friend were great, almost felt like I was there. So many memories for you to treasure. Take care missy and keep on writing and taking pictures.
